2) General Information

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to operate the website, provide its content and handle the services offered on the website.

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual steps and performance of a contract,
  • Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR where legal obligations apply,

Where information is stored on or read from your terminal device, this is additionally governed by Section 25 TDDDG.

3) Visiting the Website

When you access the website, your browser sends technically necessary information to our server. This includes in particular:

  • IP address,
  • date and time of access,
  • requested file or URL,
  • referrer URL,
  • browser type and version,
  • operating system and device type.

These data are processed in server log files to provide the website technically, defend against attacks, analyse errors and ensure the stability and security of the service.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website.

At the current state of this website, we do not use web analytics, remarketing or marketing tools in the public area. In particular, no Google Analytics, Matomo, Meta Pixel or similar tracking services are currently loaded.

The website also currently does not offer a newsletter sign-up or a standalone contact form.

4) Cookies and Similar Technologies

In the public area we currently use only technically required cookies:

  • fsc_locale: stores the language version selected by you.
  • fsc_admin_session: is set only when you use and sign in to the protected admin area.

The language cookie is required to display the language chosen by the user. The admin session cookie is required for secure sign-in and use of the admin area. The legal basis for storing or accessing these cookies is Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG. Where personal data are processed in this context, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

If you block cookies in your browser, language switching or admin sign-in may be restricted.

5) Embedded Map and External Services

The footer of the website contains an OpenStreetMap map embedded via iframe. When a page loads, your browser establishes a connection to openstreetmap.org. In that process, your IP address, technical connection data, browser information and possibly the referrer may be transmitted to OpenStreetMap.

The map is included so visitors can easily find the airfield location. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Further information is available in the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy: OpenStreetMap Privacy Policy.

The Facebook and Instagram references on our website are plain external links. We do not load social media plugins. Data are therefore generally transmitted to those providers only if you actively click the respective link.

6) Tandem Appointment Booking

If you book a tandem appointment through the website, we process the data you submit, in particular:

  • name,
  • email address,
  • phone number,
  • number of persons,
  • selected appointment,
  • optional notes.

These data are used to reserve the appointment, avoid overbooking, handle follow-up questions and send a booking confirmation by email.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

The data are stored in our booking and administration system. Where confirmation emails are sent, the required data are transmitted to our email provider or SMTP service.

We generally store booking data for as long as they are required for appointment handling, records, jump-operation organisation or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

  • optional names of voucher recipients,
  • number and type of vouchers,

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Where commercial or tax retention obligations apply, the additional legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

The order is stored in our administration system. For email delivery, the required data are transmitted to our email provider or SMTP service. No external online payment provider is currently integrated into the website; payment is made by bank transfer outside the website.

Order and billing-related data are generally stored for as long as required for contract performance and, beyond that, where statutory retention obligations apply.

8) Contact by Email or Phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide to handle your request.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps. In other cases, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in handling incoming enquiries appropriately.
