FSC Südpfalz e.V.
Nestled in a picturesque landscape with high recreational value, the "Dropzone Schweighofen" (Fallschirmsportcentrum Südpfalz e.V.) offers everything a skydiver's heart desires. Our jump pilots have been experienced in their job for many years and have often worked under demanding, competition-like conditions. Most of them are active skydivers themselves.

With modern equipment and an up-to-date AFF program, you get safe and high-quality training.
Skydivers share the airfield with Aeroclub Schweighofen-Wissembourg in excellent cooperation.
From April to October, jump operations run on two weekends per month, including a lunch break from 12:30 to 14:00.
Exact dates are available in the schedule calendar.

The airfield is located near the French border at the northern edge of the Bienwald. Landings follow runway direction (08/26).
Wissembourg is about 3 km west; the north and east areas are sparsely populated with many alternate landing options.
The field has a 620-meter grass runway oriented east-west.

There is no dedicated local weather station, so app forecasts may differ from actual conditions on site.
Our experience shows that the local microclimate around the airfield is often decisive for jump operations.

Schweighofen airfield lies in the Südpfalz at the northern edge of the Bienwald, right on the French border – the Alsatian town of Wissembourg is just about 3 kilometres away.
The trip is worthwhile from across the region: around 10 minutes from Bad Bergzabern and Wissembourg, about 25 minutes from Landau, roughly 30 minutes from Wörth am Rhein, some 45 minutes from Karlsruhe and around 50 minutes from Pirmasens or Speyer.
